Dr. Sundeep Lakhtakia is a senior consultant at AIG Hospitals with a special interest in clinical gastroenterology and advanced endoscopic interventions, especially EUS and ERCP. He heads the EUS division at AIG, overseeing more than 3,500 procedures annually, including critical interventions like EUS-guided drainage and pancreatic tumor ablation. Dr. Lakhtakia has been instrumental in developing AIG's world-class training and interventional EUS program and serves as the current president of the Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy of India .
