Dr. Rakesh Jalali is a distinguished Radiation Oncologist with over 28 years of experience. He completed his MBBS and MD in Radiotherapy and Oncology, graduating with distinction from the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. He further pursued senior research at the Royal Marsden NHS Trust in London, focusing on 'Stereotactic Radiotherapy'. Dr. Jalali is renowned for his contributions to neuro-oncology and has been instrumental in developing the Neuro Oncology group at Tata Memorial Hospital, recognized globally as a premier unit. He played a pivotal role in establishing the Indian Society of Neuro-Oncology (ISNO) in 2008 and founded the 'Brain Tumour Foundation of India', dedicated to patient welfare. Currently, he serves as the Medical Director at Apollo Proton Cancer Centre in Chennai, South Asia's first proton therapy facility.
