Dr. Mandana is a highly experienced cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon with over 40 years in the field. He completed his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from S.N. Medical College under Rajasthan University. He further specialized by obtaining an MCh in Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery from Kasturba Medical College & Hospital, Manipal. In 2000, he earned a fellowship from the European Board of Cardiothoracic Surgeons at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, UK. Throughout his career, Dr. Mandana has performed numerous critical and complex cardiothoracic and vascular surgeries. Notably, he led the team that performed the first successful heart transplant in eastern India on May 21, 2018, at Fortis Anandapur, Kolkata, and has since conducted several more such procedures.
